Which version of the eBook should I purchase?

The ePub version is an (almost) universally recognized eBook format that is recognized by most eReaders and eReader software, including NOOK, Kobo eReader, and their associated apps. If you have any eReader besides the Kindle, buy the ePub.

Kindles, however, can’t read ePub files. If you have a Kindle (or a Kindle app), buy the Kindle version of the eBook. It is a MOBI file, the eBook format favored by Kindles.

If you accidentally purchase the wrong format, fear not! Just email, and we’ll be happy to get you the right format.

I’ve downloaded an eBook from your store. How do I get it on my eReader?

How you transfer your new eBook to your favorite reader depends on the reader that you’re using. Here are brief instructions for a few of the more popular readers:

  • Kindle: Make sure that you downloaded the MOBI file from our site (ePub documents don’t work on a Kindle). Plug the Kindle into your computer via USB, open the attached Kindle drive, then drop the MOBI file into your Kindle’s “Documents” or “Books” folder. Eject the Kindle drive from your computer, and you should be good to go!
  • iBooks (on your iPhone or iPad): Email the ePub file to yourself, then open the email from your iPhone or iPad. Click on the attached ePub file: Mail will give you the option of opening the file with iBooks. Select that option, and the book will be imported into your iBooks library.
  • NOOK: You can transfer ePub files to your NOOK in much the same way as you transfer MOBI files to your Kindle: Just attach your NOOK to your computer via a USB cable, then drop the file into the “My Documents” folder on your NOOK. Remember to properly eject the NOOK before removing the USB cable from your computer!
  • Android Device: You have to have an eBook reader installed on your Android device in order to read your downloaded ePub file (Aldiko is a popular one). Put the ePub file somewhere on your SD card where you can find it. Most eBook readers have an “Import” or “Add to Library” function within the app — once you click on “Import” (or the equivalent), you should have the option of navigating to the ePub file on your SD card and importing the book into your eReader library. Of course, these are very general instructions, and you should probably refer to the support documentation for you particular eBook reader app.

If you still need help getting the book into your device, email, and we’ll be happy to help!

I never received my eBook download/I misplaced my eBook download! Can you resend it to me?

Sure! Just let us know by emailing, and we’ll be happy to resend it.
